![]() ![]() Text Tools I is included in two versions, one compatible with Keyboard Maestro 9 that resembles Literary Toolbox III and the other that operates as a menu bar pulldown menu with Keyboard Maestro 10. That became Text Tools I, which includes an option to call Literary Toolbox III. Fortunately it was possible to recreate them in Perl and, at the same time, modernize them a bit. In losing Spell Catcher, I also lost its Modify command that could perform a number of useful text transformations. But the change should make it a nicer fit with current macOS releases. Otherwise Literary Toolbox III remains the same as its predecessor. So I reconfigured the palette to use the macOS spell checking options while retaining remote WordNet access. Since the Earthquake makes percentage damage, make sure to always drop this spell first and use the Lightning later to end finish it.Newer and improved versions of these palettes are now available at Literary Toolbox IV and Text Toolbox II.ĪFTER MOVING TO CATALINA RECENTLY, I reluctantly bid farewell to the Spell Catcher and local WordNet access options of Literary Toolbox II. This spell can be mixed with the Earthquake Spell to destroy buildings, creating the popular Zapquake. The most common defense to be destroyed are Air Defenses to prepare the village for an Air Attack. This is spell is commonly used to destroy important defenses before the actual attack. Upgrading this spell will only increase the amount of damage each. This spell will always drop a single lightning bolt, regardless of its level. So stacking is not only possible but also recommended to take down important defenses before the attack. Stacking multiple Lightning Spells will increase the amount of damage. This spell makes a fixed amount of damage to a specific chosen area in the village. Although they are similar to the Lightning Spell, they affect all buildings without restrictions, including storages. The Electro Dragon has a unique ability he drops some lightning bolts upon death. However, you will not steal any resources. This change was done to prevent an extremely annoying "lazy farm" where the attack consisted only in dropping Lightning Spells to steal resources.Įven though the Town Hall is now considered a resource building, he will take damage, and the Town Hall 12 will activate its Giga Tesla. This spell affects all buildings, except Gold Storages, Elixir Storages, and Dark Elixir Storages. This will give the Freeze Spell a tough competition. This is enough to stop the Inferno Tower and force it to retarget when on Single Target mode. We don't have the actual numbers, but the spell stuns for a fraction of a second, around. The Lightning also stuns and "resets" the defenses. This might be a great change as we can use against Clan Castle Troops as well, but we have to be careful to not activate the Giga Tesla or Giga Inferno. In this image we can see the damage to surrounding buildings with only a single spell. With damage only to a single spot, the new Lightning also deals splash damage. However, it uses only a single housing space. ![]() This new Lightning also makes around 20% less damage than the original Spell. Mixing with the Earthquake Spell, this might bring the cool Zapquake back to the game. Now we can easily find out how many spells are required to destroy a specific building. This is a big deal, as the old version with 6 bolts was complicated to find out how much damage a single building would get as it hits the ground on random places. With this difference, you can easily aim and concentrate all spell's damage to a specific building. Instead of 6 bolts on random places within a 3.5 tile radius, the new Lightning Spell has only a single bolt that makes damage on a single place. The Summer 2020 update redesigned the Lightning Spell entirely. This lightning falls on the exact spot you've chosen, making additional splash damage to the surrounding area and stun effect on defensive buildings and Clan Castle troops. This Spell drops a single lightning bolt from the sky. This spell was introduced on the September 2012 update with the Spell Factory itself, so it's one of the three original Spells, among with the Healing and Rage spells. The Lightning Spell is an Elixir spell unlocked when you build the Spell Factory, which requires a Town Hall level 5. "Electrocute your enemies with bolts of lightning! Cast this spell at the enemy village to damage buildings and units inside a small area." This is an open guide created and improved by the Clash community. ![]()
